Production Manager, West Virginia
John McDavid is the Production Manager at GreenPower’s South Charleston, West Virginia all-electric, purpose-built school bus manufacturing facility. He brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience to GreenPower.
Prior to joining GreenPower, John served as a production engineer at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility in Buffalo, West Virginia where he was a part of the vehicle electrification team and battery development team. Over the years he has also been a production manager, among other positions, for Gestamp of West Virginia.
Mr. McDavid’s education includes Lean Manufacturing and Supplier Support Center training from Toyota, PICOS team training and ISO 9001 from General Motors, Root Cause analysis and Supervisory Management from West Virginia State, and Six Sigma Basics from Marshall University.
